Doctoral Colloquium Speaker Funds
Eligibility: Faculty in departments with doctoral programs
Award: Varies
Allowable Uses: Costs for outside speakers
Due: Varies, typically early October
Application Materials: Proposal of around 150- 200 words stating the speaker’s name and the general topic of the talk; contact Graduate Coordinator for details
Reviewed by: Initial department level review (graduate coordinator, department head) then graduate school review
Guilbeau Center Community Engagement Fellowships
Eligibility: Faculty and students; community organizations will be prioritized (ex. faculty and students in partnership with community organizations)
Award: $2,500
Allowable Uses: To support community-centered projects
Due: RFP will be posted on the Guilbeau Center’s website and emailed
Application Materials: Submit a 500-750 word prospectus via email to marissa.petrou @louisiana.edu describing the research project, identifying the Guilbeau Center resources to be used, and including a timeline for completing the project within 12 months of the fellowship
