Advance Faculty Grants

Eligibility: Faculty working with undergraduates
 
Award: $5,000
 
Allowable Uses: Incentives to faculty who design and implement student research experiences (SREs), inside and outside the classroom
 
Due: RFPs will be posted on Advance website
 
Application Materials: Application form (will be emailed)
 
Reviewed by: University’s undergraduate research council, the Louisiana Council for Excellence in Undergraduate Research (LaCOEUR), with representatives from each college
 

Advance Equipment Grants

Eligibility: Faculty working with undergraduates
 
Award: $10,000
 
Allowable Uses: Specialized equipment and supplies to help implement Advance student research experiences (SREs) programming
 
Due: RFPs will be posted on Advance website
 
Application Materials: Application form (will be emailed)
 
Reviewed by: University’s undergraduate research council, the Louisiana Council for Excellence in Undergraduate Research (LaCOEUR), with representatives from each college
 

Advance Course Improvement/Design Stipends

Eligibility: Faculty working with undergraduates
 
Award: Up to 10 stipends of $3,000 each
 
Allowable Uses: To stimulate and support the design and redesign of courses with embedded student research experiences (SREs) included
 
Due: RFPs will be posted on Advance website
 
Application Materials: Open application as a PDF document
 
Reviewed by: University’s undergraduate research council, the Louisiana Council for Excellence in Undergraduate Research (LaCOEUR), with representatives from each college
 

Advance Mini-Grants

Eligibility: Faculty or staff directly engaged in mentoring one or more undergraduate students
 
Award: $2000
 
Allowable Uses: Serving as the principal investigator for an undergraduate research project
 
Due: RFPs will be posted on Advance website
