				Departmental Scholarships HISTORY AND GEOGRAPHY
				WALTER R. CRADDOCK ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP Contact: Scholarship Coordinator, History P.O. Box 42531 Lafayette, LA 70504-2531 Awarded on the basis of academic merit and professional promise to students with either junior or senior standing majoring in History, Political Science or Philosophy. Must have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Scholarship pays $200 annually over two semesters; $100 Fall and $100 Spring. Requires a 3.0 semester GPA to retain scholarship. W. MACGRUDER DRAKE SENIOR AWARD Contact: Scholarship Coordinator, History P.O. Box 42531 Lafayette, LA 70504-2531 Must be a graduating senior with a 2.5 GPA and majoring in History. The award pays $75. DR. ALEXANDER SAS-JAWORSKY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP Contact: Scholarship Coordinator, History P.O. Box 42531 Lafayette, LA 70504-2531 Must be eligible to enter his/her junior or senior year and have a 3.0 GPA. Student must be majoring in History possess a love of history and be an independent thinker. Scholarship pays $500 annually for two semesters; $250 Fall; $250 Spring. Requires a 3.0 semester GPA during Fall semester of scholarship year to retain scholarship.
