HARMON F. ROY ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP

For first-time freshmen at UL Lafayette. High school students must be eligible to apply for the UL Lafayette Academic Scholarship.

LOUISIANA SPEECH AND HEARING ASSOCIATION

Offers two $500 scholarships annually; one undergraduate and one graduate. These are granted on the basis of an applicant showing GPA (not defined), demonstrated financial need, and letters of recommendation from faculty members.

JUNIOR LEAGUE OF LAFAYETTE ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Contact: Scholarship Coordinator, Communicative Disorders

Must be a U. S. citizen and a Louisiana resident. Student must be a junior or senior and have a 3.0 GPA or better majoring in Speech Pathology & Audiology. Scholarship pays $1,000 annually for two semesters; $500 Fall and $500 Spring. Requires a 3.0 cumulative GPA and a 3.0 semester GPA during Fall semester of scholarship year to retain scholarship.

CLAUDE RICHARD COCHRAN MEMORIAL ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

Must be a U.S. citizen; be eligible to enter his/her junior or senior year, have a 3.0 cumulative GPA and majoring in Communicative Disorders. Award is $1,250 annuually for 2 semester; $625 for the Fall semester and $625 for the Spring semester.

National scholarship to students at universities in the U.S. or Canada pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology & Audiology. Scholarship pays $1,000. Requirements are a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale or at least 85% in all high school and college classes.
